A Season of Gratitude, Momentum, and Meaning

Dear friends,

There’s a quote I love that says: “Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more.” I come back to that often — especially during this time of year.

Because gratitude isn’t just a feeling. It’s a lens. It’s the act of noticing — even in chaos — that there’s beauty in what’s already here. That's when we slow down long enough to really see and acknowledge the people, places, and small gestures around us, we begin to feel full. And from that fullness, we give more generously, serve more honestly, and live more purposefully.

The #KaulMe a Holiday Market earlier this month was the perfect expression of that. Now in its 5th year, it continues to grow into something truly special — not just a market, but a gathering. A kickoff to the season filled with joy, intention, and connection. I loved seeing so many of you — hugging familiar faces, watching kids and adults race around with hot chocolate in hand, and supporting an incredible lineup of 25 small, women-owned businesses. It was magic.

To everyone who showed up, shared, shopped, or simply cheered us on — thank you. You make our community what it is, and I’m endlessly grateful to be in it with you.

As we shift toward the quieter weeks of the year, I’m seeing the market reflect that seasonal pause — and with it, real opportunity. Some homes are sitting longer, giving buyers more room to negotiate. It’s a window worth watching if you’re looking to enter the market.

That said, every home tells its own story. A Bethesda property I listed received four offers and escalated $70K above asking — proof that preparation, presentation and strategy still win. If selling is on your radar for 2026, now is the time to start planning. I’m already working with clients who want to hit the ground running next year, and being ahead of the game always pays off.
