There’s a saying that the most powerful leadership is the kind you don’t have to talk about — it’s lived. And that’s exactly what my usband Rajeev embodies, day in and day out.

He has a demanding job overseeing countless people, carrying the kind of responsibility that would exhaust most — but somehow, his strength, determination and sheer commitment allows him to show up at home with just as much purpose and intention. My husband makes dinner most nights (usually with a laptop open nearby and a loud voice leading calls), shuttles the boys across town for their weekend activities while I’m working, and still has energy left to play evening ball with them before bed. Our sons’ love of sports, of showing up for your teammates? That came from him — and our boys experience it every single day.
Rajeev wakes early, sleeps early and prioritizes his health, not out of vanity but out of love — because he knows that taking care of himself is one of the best ways he can take care of us. Watching him balance it all with humility and heart reminds me how lucky I am. I hit the jackpot — not just with a partner, but with a true teammate and a dad with the keen intuition of understanding how critical his role as father is every day. Our boys idolize him.
And here’s the beautiful twist: Rajeev has taught me just as much, if not more, about how to be an effective advocate and advisor to my clients as he has being a wife and mother. He’s taught me that listening is more powerful than speaking, that trust is earned in the quiet moments through consistency and follow-through. That being great at what you do doesn’t mean being loud — it means being reliable and consistent with my real estate business-- the work should always speak for itself.
So this Father’s Day, I just want to say thank you to an amazing husband and father for showing our boys what love in action looks like. And to all the fathers and father figures who work hard and show love (the greatest sign of masculinity in my book!), we see you and appreciate you today and every day.
